Organizing the Urantia Papers for a Meaningful Study:
An Outline of The Urantia Book
by David Kantor

This document contains a suggested grouping and conceptual organization of the Urantia Papers which may facilitate their in-depth study. Parts I, II and III are grouped into 12 major divisions and 20 sub-divisions. Part IV is considered separately, with the material being divided into three major divisions and 15 smaller sub-divisions.

Four papers may be considered separately. These include the Foreword, Paper 56, Paper 118 and Paper 196. The Foreword and Paper 56 may profitably be studied together, but such a study would be greatly enhanced by at least one fairly careful reading of Papers 1 through 55. Paper 118 examines the theological implications of the materials developed in Parts I, II and III, provides a conceptual foundation for further exploration. Paper 196 provides a meditative reflection on the implications of the faith of Jesus for further human spiritual and religious development.

Papers 78-92: The evolution of human institutions

Paper 118: A conceptual springboard from which future advances in spiritual cosmology and theology might be developed. This paper, in the way in which its concepts are presented, also models a philosophical approach to the integration of further developments with present attainments, based upon the approach put forth at [19:1.6] (p. 215): "The true perspective of any reality problem--human or divine, terrestrial or cosmic--can be had only by the full and unprejudiced study and correlation of three phases of universe reality: origin, history, and destiny. The proper understanding of these three experiential realities affords the basis for a wise estimate of the current status."
